Programme Development

Skill: Programme Development

Project Duration: 15 hours

Cause: Education

Who are we looking for: For this role, we are looking for a volunteer who has experience with developing new programmes, specifically planning and prioritising steps to get new projects off the ground.

Project brief: Breakfast Clubs Against Racism are looking to create two new volunteer-based programmes to streamline their current model. The first strategy revolves around training corporate volunteers to deliver school workshops. Secondly, they are looking to develop a franchise model that would enable volunteers to set up their own clubs following the organisation's curriculum. They are in the early stages of developing these ideas and would like a volunteer to help them plan out a strategy. They would also like to identify some key benchmarks/processes that would be required to implement these changes in accordance with their mission.

Who you'll be supporting: Breakfast Clubs Against Racism is a new non-profit combatting racism through a series of breakfast clubs and school programmes for 10-13-year-olds. They aim to educate young people on institutional, systemic, and historical racism in Britain, including how to recognize and challenge it. At the same time, they aim to provide students with the vital self-confidence skills required to create the leaders we need in the next generation.

Project Status: Filled
Date: August 14, 2022
