Project Coordination: Video Clips

All of the roles we are currently promoting are entirely VIRTUAL and can be done from home via email, telephone and video calling. For more information please get in touch!

Citizens Advice Wandsworth (CAW) provide free advice about a range of social welfare issues including benefits, debt, housing and employment. The organisation helps around 13,000 people a year and the outcomes of this work range from empowering clients to resolve their issue by providing them with information and self-help resources, to providing intensive casework support that can help prevent homelessness and destitution, as well as addressing serious failures in processes managed by local and central government.

Total length of project: 24 hours over 1 month

Citizen’s Advice Wandsworth are in need of a skilled volunteer to coordinate the development of video capturing within the organisation. The organisation would like the volunteer to consult with various project leads within the organisation in order to produce video clips that represents best the services offered. They anticipate the process as including: supporting the writing of scripts and storyboarding, supporting those in the video to record themselves on their smart-phone or via a zoom call, coordinating the collection and filing of the videos so that they can be used at a later date.

For this role we are looking for an organised individual who can coordinate multiple mini projects with differing audiences, participants and aims. An understanding of film production is not necessary but would help with structuring videos and developing scripts.
