HR Policies Setup
The Catalyst Collective believes that mentoring can be a powerful intervention in the lives of young women. We recruit, train, match and support young professional Black women with Black teenagers for year-long mentoring relationships. The organisation is committed to facilitating meaningful mentoring relationships between young Black women, and mentors they can identify with to support them in achieving their goals.
Total project duration: 24 hours over 1.5 months
After a very successful uptake of potential mentors and mentees in their first 3 months of existence, The Catalyst Collective would like to shore up their legal compliance by setting up a robust set of policies in order to protect mentees, mentors and the organisation from the outset. With a basis of the right policy infrastructure the organisation can scale up operations with more confidence. In their pilot year, an e-safety and safeguarding policy have been put in place, however as the organisation grows and works with new partners, they envision needing: Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, GDPR, Volunteering, Intellectual Property and Copyrights, as well as others that an experienced HR Professional can identify as necessary.
For this role we are looking for a volunteer HR professional with experience of setting up new policies for small but fast-growing organisations.
