Who we're looking for: We’re looking for a volunteer with experience in IT, database development and software procurement.
Project brief: Greenwich Winter Night Shelter has been through a period of significant growth and development over the past year and are now supporting more people than ever before. In order to improve their casework function and ensure that all information is stored efficiently and safely, they are looking to implement a Client Management System. GWNS are looking for a volunteer to support them in identifying the right platform, configuring it in the most logical way and helping them to launch the new system.
Who you'll be supporting: Established in 2014, Greenwich Winter Night Shelter offers accommodation, support and advice for people experiencing homelessness in South East London. They run a winter night shelter which provides single room accommodation between October-March and offer health, advocacy and employment support to anyone who is homeless or at risk of homeless through their year-round Day Centre. They are a community project which works closely with local organisations and are supported by over 200 volunteers.
