Review Digital Programme for Young People

Skill: Programme Development

Project Duration: 24 hours

Cause: Education

Who we're looking for: We are looking for a volunteer with experience in the education/learning and development sector.

Project brief: Digilearning would like a Skilled Volunteer to help review their training programme's curriculum in order for the programme to be accredited by the CPD. The programme has 36 hours of training and covers a variety of digital skills. They need someone with experience to review the current curriculum to determine what to keep and what to retire, help them to organise their standards based on the topics and timeline and to help develop the lesson plans to provide a comprehensive student learning experience. Any general advice around accreditation would also be very welcome.

Who you'll be supporting: A UK charity dedicated to educating children, parents, and teachers with digital skills. As a charity Digilearning have reached over 50,000 people across the globe with digital skills, from workshops in schools, career development days – to developing an online safety platform for parents. We recently created the award-winning DIGIRISE and GIRLRISE mentoring and career development programmes. Our programmes help students prepare for the real world of work by giving them digital literacy, business understanding, the communication skills and the confidence they need to enter this digital-first world of working.

Project Borough: Bromley/Croydon

Project Status: Open

Date: July 7, 2022
