HR Trustee

Future Skills Training invests time in children and young people to enable them to re-engage in education. Their values are to care for, empower and give hope to those they support including excluded, disengaged, at risk and vulnerable children and young people aged 8 -18.

Commitment: 2 hour meetings every 2-3 months + monthly check-in call.

The current board is made up of Branding, now coaching business professionals, IT, Local Authority, Fundraising, Investment. Main duties, in addition to meetings, are ensuring governance expectations of filing accurate accounts on time are met and oversight of the safeguarding procedures of the organisation. Trustees also work on growth and development of organisation, as well as supporting the CEO and staff to be the best they can.
