HR Support (Staffing, Recruitment, Volunteers)

Who are we looking for: For this role, we are looking for an experienced HR professional with confidence in recruitment processes and contracts.
Project brief: Raze Collective would like advice on HR matters, particularly regarding recruitment, contracting staff, onboarding/induction and volunteer management. Assist outlining what policies are needed and review current policies to ensure they represent good HR practices. Assist by outlining what a staff handbook should include, provide examples if possible, and provide guidance on best HR practices around leave, parental leave, safeguarding, equity and diversity. Review staff handbook and any new policies once produced. Provide advice on best system for system for payroll/pay claims/invoices/payments and reimbursement processes and guidance on how best to integrate this into our practices and handbook/policies.
Who you'll be supporting: Raze is a charity established to support, develop and nurture queer performance in the UK, valuing representation, diversity and visibility while using Raze as a commissioning, development and networking platform to support the queer community with funding, opportunity and queer led spaces. Whilst all activities by Raze Collective are created for the benefit of queer (LGBTQIA+), trans and non-binary people who are part of the wider public and who work within the arts and culture sector, they also prioritise creating activities that benefit those who are further minoritised due to race and heritage, age, socio-economic status, disability and neurodiversity.
