Who we're looking for: We are looking for a volunteer with PR experience, particularly building relationships with journalists/influencers.
Project brief: Handmade Stories are a social enterprise looking to increase awareness of their socially conscious fashion brand. They would like a Skilled Volunteer to help them develop a strategy for identifying and developing relationships with key contacts, such as journalists and influencers, that can help raise brand awareness. This strategy should also enable them to make the most of seasonal opportunities, such as Mother’s Day, Christmas etc. Finally, they would like the volunteer to help assemble a press release for the key contacts that are identified.
Who you'll be supporting: Handmade Stories is a slow fashion brand that makes beautiful, quality clothing, jewellery, accessories and homeware. They are a social enterprise that supports women in rural communities in the Andes, artisans, and men in prison in Peru so they can reach economic independence and keep their traditions alive.
