HomeStart Wandsworth supports families with young children under the age of five. Home visiting volunteers help families with day-to-day challenges, improving confidence and empowering parents to build better lives for their family. They do this by offering impartial, non-judgmental listening, practical support and sharing parenting support information. They also run a range of group activities where families can enjoy, learn and grow together.

Time commitment: 16-20 hours (in total)

HomeStart would like to begin offering training sessions (workshops, volunteer training sessions, and parenting programmes) within the community, to make use of the talent within their organisation and to generate some income for the charity. For this HomeStart are in need of scoping the landscape through market research and developing the business arm that will underpin this expansion of services. This will include, pricing of services and thinking through infrastructural requirements and legal considerations.

For this role we are looking for someone with experience in commercialisation of programmes in line with, or developed alongside, overarching strategy of organisations.
