Microsoft Teams - Upskilling & Training

Home-Start Barnet’s mission is supporting families to give children a strong start in life. They operate across Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Harrow and Tower Hamlets, delivering emotional and practical support to parents and children and offer one-to-one home visiting, group activities, MoneySmart coaching, and counselling.

Total length of project: 16 hours over 1.5 month

Home-Start Barnet are in need of help optimising the set-up of a Project team on Microsoft Teams and help getting the best out of Teams functionality for collaborative working with partner organisations. They currently have a Teams channel set up for Perinatal support project, but some partners can't seem to access the information properly and our attempts at troubleshooting have failed. Because of the issues, Home-Start Barnet are seeing some confusion and duplication of effort, and extra workaround solutions, which add to tasks without solving the root problems. As they anticipate more partnership working in future, the organisation want to be able to use a collaboration tool like teams to manage projects. The project involves 7 staff from 4 organisations.

For this Skilled Volunteering Project we are looking for an individual with expert understanding of Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft team-tools and experience of training teams on them.
