20th Anniversary Planning

Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience managing teams and planning events programmes.

Project brief: Croydon Commitment are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their foundation next year. They would like a Skilled Volunteer to help them organise a steering committee, provide ideas, and advise on the viability of the celebrations. Their current thoughts revolve around the idea of having 20 events, some organised by 3rd party businesses or community organisations from within their network, with one large celebratory event centred around Croydon Commitment.

Who you’ll be supporting: Croydon Commitment supports many local voluntary organisations and hundreds of residents through their programmes dealing with issues around Employability, Education, Environment and Social Inclusion. They work with their business partners and their employee volunteers to deliver relevant and meaningful activities which benefit the people and environment of Croydon.

All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. The time commitment above will be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting. This could range from a few days to a few months.
