Who We Are Looking For:

Link UP London is seeking a Skilled Volunteer with expertise in organisational strategy and team development. The ideal candidate will help Kinaraa create a clear strategy document for the next 1–3 years, advise on structuring a growing team, and support the identification of strategic goals across key areas, including finances and communications.

Project Brief:

Kinaraa is looking to develop a robust organisational strategy that reflects its ambitions and strengthens its ability to deliver transformative community outcomes. The Skilled Volunteer will:
  • Facilitate the creation of a 1–3 year strategic plan outlining key priorities and measurable objectives.
  • Advise on structuring a growing team for efficiency and long-term sustainability.
  • Support the identification of strategic goals across core areas, including finances, communications, and organisational growth.

Who You’ll Be Supporting:

Kinaraa is a dynamic, Black-led infrastructure organisation based in Lewisham. They are dedicated to empowering local communities, providing asset-based solutions, and supporting Black-led organisations to grow strategically and sustainably. With over 30 years of expertise and deep local knowledge, Kinaraa drives initiatives that mainstream organisations cannot, promoting equitable life chances and tackling systemic health disparities.

Your impact:

This role will enable Kinaraa to articulate a clear vision and actionable plan, and to identify strategic goals that will guide future development. The Skilled Volunteer’s input will directly support sustainable growth and help amplify Kinaraa’s lasting impact on the local community.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 24 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
