Book Promotion Support

Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience in publishing and book promotion.

Project brief: The Brun Bear Foundation publishes children’s books. Proceeds from sales fund community, medical and animal welfare projects – with special emphasis on bears. They would like a Skilled Volunteer to help their book sales reach their fullest potential. They would like to undertake an audience and market analysis for their books, and identify a list of potential partners they could approach to help promote them. They would also like some advice about the materials required for this promotion.

Who you’ll be supporting: The Brun Bear Foundation has distributed thousands of pounds to a mix of community, medical and animal welfare causes via their grant-making programmes. The organisation has also launched a scholarship and bursary programme to complement these activities.

All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. The time commitment above will be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting. This could range from a few days to a few months.
