Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking a Skilled Volunteer with expertise in business strategy and organisational development to help formalise their vision into a comprehensive and professional business model.

Project Brief:

Dream For Your Sister Productions is developing GREEN DREAMS, a new programme aimed at educating, training, and supporting individuals from underrepresented backgrounds in entering roles within the screen industries. At this early stage of their development, the organisation would like guidance to shape its operational model and establish a sustainable strategy to achieve its goals.

This project will involve:
  • Structuring the business model – Defining clear program objectives and refining operational and financial model.
  • Developing a professional business strategy – Creating a comprehensive document outlining the program’s purpose, structure, and plan for long-term sustainability that can be used to engage key stakeholders.
This role is essential in turning an ambitious vision into a structured, impactful, and financially sustainable initiative, driving meaningful change in the industry.

Who You’ll Be Supporting:
Dream For Your Sister Productions is developing GREEN DREAMS, a programme that provides specialist training, paid work placements, and mentorship for individuals from ethnically diverse, lower-income, and underrepresented backgrounds in the screen industries. Participants will receive industry-specific education and hands-on experience, ensuring they develop the skills needed to build sustainable careers. Alongside training and employment opportunities, ongoing mentorship and pastoral support will help them navigate professional challenges and confidently establish themselves in the industry.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 24 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
