Duration
18 hours (Flexible)

Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with business and financial planning experience.

Project Brief: Why Care would like support from a Skilled Volunteer to review their business plan and provide advice about their financial and strategic goals for the next few years. This will include working on a financial forecast and a summary of their costs. This will support the development and sustainability of the organisation so they can work with more local authorities and foster carers.

Who you’ll be supporting: Why Care exists to increase the number of stable loving homes available to vulnerable children in care. They do this by partnering with local authorities to assess, prepare and support people who want to be foster carers.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 1.5 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 18 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
