Legal Advice for Organisational Structure

Who we’re looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with legal experience in regards to CIC’s.

Project brief: Building Imagination are registered as an LTD company but have decided to register their after-school clubs as a CIC. They require expertise from a Skilled Volunteer to ensure the relationship between the CIC and LTD company is built correctly and to understand to what extent the two can share resources.

Who you’ll be supporting: Lambeth-based organisation, Building Imagination, offers learning experiences using cutting-edge equipment and technology for students from Reception to KS3. They run in-person and digital after-school clubs, online courses, virtual classrooms, and holiday clubs. They aim to help students move from seeing technology as just something they consume, to having the confidence to use it as a tool to design and create with.

All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. The time commitment above will be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting. This could range from a few days to a few months.
