Communications Strategy

30 Hours
Community Development

Who we’re looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience communicating impact.

Project brief: Granville Community Kitchen would like a volunteer to help them produce a clear communications strategy. The strategy will outline how to effectively communicate the organisation’s work and its impact, as well as identify who their target audience is and how to reach them. Improving their communications will help the organisation to recruit volunteers and raise funds for their work.

Who you’ll be supporting: Brent-based Charity, Granville Community Kitchen, empowers marginalised people in the community through food-related activities. This includes those with long-term health conditions, learning disabled adults and those experiencing hunger and food insecurity. They build food literacy, skills and confidence through cookery classes, volunteering opportunities, and organic food growing. GCK also reduces isolation and strengthens community cohesion through regular group activities including community meals, film nights and other community events.
