Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience managing digital communications.
Project brief: BlindAid need support in building a strong foundation for their digital communications. They would like a Skilled Volunteer to help them develop their digital communications strategy and get started on setting up their email marketing and social media platforms. They hope this will raise awareness of the charity, its impact and need, whilst also encouraging people to become part of their community and help raise funds. This project will also involve providing advice around possible content and tracking/analytics for their future communications.
Who you’ll be supporting: BlindAid has over 185 years of experience delivering emotional and practical support to blind and visually impaired people living in the 12 inner London Boroughs and the City of London. They aim to improve quality of life and to promote independence.
All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. The time commitment above will be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting. This could range from a few days to a few months.
