Who We Are Looking For

Mama2Mama is seeking a Skilled Volunteer with expertise in Microsoft Excel to help refine their financial tracking workbook. The ideal candidate will be comfortable designing and building robust formulas, dropdown controls, automations and reporting dashboards.

Project Brief

Mama2Mama has developed a comprehensive financial tracking spreadsheet that captures income, expenditure, and various sources of funding with restrictions. The workbook is used daily to manage and monitor the organisation’s finances, and the team is keen to strengthen it further by introducing more sophisticated formula and automations.

The Skilled Volunteer will:

  • Review the existing workbook and identify opportunities to improve functionality and accuracy.
  • Develop formulas, dropdown controls, and reporting dashboards to strengthen financial oversight.
  • Help automate key processes to reduce manual administration and support more efficient reporting

Who You’ll Be Supporting

Mama2Mama is a baby bank supporting families across the local community who are struggling to afford essential items for children from new-born to three years old, collecting new and pre-loved baby items and distributing them to families in urgent need. Their work is rooted in partnership, offering whole-family assessments and referrals into wider parenting, employability, advice, and health support.

Your Impact

By strengthening Mama2Mama’s financial systems, this project will reduce the time staff and volunteers spend on manual data checking, freeing them up to focus on supporting families directly. A more sustainable, transparent organisation means Mama2Mama can confidently grow their support, reaching more families with the essential baby items and practical help they urgently need.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of approximately 24 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
