Who We Are Looking For:

Finding the Flex is seeking a Skilled Volunteer with expertise in financial forecasting and budgeting to support its strategic growth.

Project Brief:

Finding the Flex are undergoing a period of rapid growth and are preparing to launch their pilot projects, which will generate the organisation’s first revenue. In order to scale effectively and sustainably, the organisation requires a robust financial forecast that will enable it to plan ahead and manage resources efficiently.
This project will include:
  • Develop a financial model to help forecast revenue, expenditure, and different growth scenarios.
  • Create a budgeting framework that aligns with the organisation’s needs and goals.
  • Offer guidance on best practices for financial planning to achieve long-term financial sustainability.
The guidance provided through this project will be instrumental in ensuring the organisation can build a strong financial foundation, meet demand, and sustain its impact.

Who You’ll Be Supporting:
Finding the Flex envisions a future where flexischooling becomes a mainstream educational pathway, allowing children to thrive in both home and school learning environments. Their mission is to empower local authorities and schools to embrace this innovative approach, ensuring children’s unique needs are met with compassion and collaboration.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 30 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
