Who We Are Looking For:

Clothing Collective is seeking a Skilled Volunteer with expertise in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking. The organisation currently runs targeted ad campaigns to reach and engage potential supporters and fundraisers, but some tracking elements are not functioning correctly. The volunteer will be asked to audit, fix, and optimise tracking to ensure that campaign performance can be measured accurately.

Project Brief:

Clothing Collective uses Google Ads to connect with donors and fundraisers, raising awareness of its mission to support those affected by clothing poverty. However, conversion tracking within Google Ads is currently inconsistent, which limits the organisation’s ability to measure campaign success and improve return on ad spend.

This project will:
  • Audit and fix the current conversion tracking in Google Ads.
  • Review and advise on additional tracking metrics, including custom goals in Google Analytics.
  • Provide recommendations for ongoing optimisation of Google Ads and Google Analytics to strengthen campaign insights.

Who You’ll Be Supporting:

Clothing Collective provides clothing to those in need. They provide Charity Shop gift vouchers which are distributed via carefully chosen Charity Partners, who distribute the clothing vouchers to those most in need. The beneficiary can then take the voucher to a participating charity shop to choose clothing to suit them. In turn this provides funds for local partner charities too, helping them to carry on their work, caring for vulnerable members of our community.

Your impact:

This volunteer role will empower Clothing Collective to make evidence-based improvements to its digital marketing strategy, ensuring that every advertising pound delivers maximum social impact. Improved conversion tracking will help the charity reach more supporters, increase fundraising efficiency, and expand its capacity to support people experiencing clothing poverty.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 2 months, totalling around 16 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
