Who we’re looking for: We are looking for a volunteer with experience in developing HR processes.

Project brief: Football Journeys are looking for a Skilled Volunteer to assist with their HR procedures. They would like to develop a clear internal process for onboarding, training and inducting future permanent, sessional and freelance staff. This will feed into the production of a new Staff Handbook and give the organisation a system for effectively supporting new staff.

Who you’ll be supporting: Football Journeys is a charity bringing young people from different communities together to share new experiences. Using story-telling and football activities as unifying tools, participants take part in their weekly programme of structured activities to learn about and value their own identity and challenge their perceptions of others. Working with coaches, participants increase confidence, communication and leadership skills.
