Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with expertise in marketing and communications strategy. The volunteer will help develop an actionable plan to enhance audience engagement, improve their reach, and optimise content creation.

Project Brief:

Magdalen Hall Association C.I.C seeks assistance in developing a communications strategy that will allow them to more efficiently engage their key stakeholders and the wider community.
The project will include:
  • Evaluating Current Marketing Strategies: Review existing marketing efforts to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Building a Targeted Communications Plan: Develop strategies to identify and engage key audiences, including local residents, businesses, and community partners.
  • Tracking Success: Provide guidance on monitoring engagement, and overall communications to ensure long-term effectiveness.
Who You’ll Be Supporting:
Magdalen Hall Association C.I.C is an inclusive community hub for over 740 homes across St. Saviours, Purbrook, and Aylwin estates. It manages the historic Magdalen Hall, a versatile venue near Tower Bridge, offering space for events, classes, and theatre, with discounts for local residents. With over 60 years of service, the organisation promotes diversity, equality, and community cohesion while reinvesting proceeds to benefit the local community.

Your Impact: This project will help Magdalen Hall position itself as a vibrant, inclusive community hub. By fostering greater participation and generating sustainable support, Magdalen hall will be able to enhance the lives of more people and reinvest more proceeds back into the community.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 24 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
