Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience in using Monday.com who can help with design and testing.

Project Brief:

Bags of Taste would like a Skilled Volunteer to support their organisation in developing a tracking system in Monday.com for Course Management. Currently, they are managing and tracking their operations using Google Sheets, but their projected growth has meant the complexity and scale demands a more robust system.

They are seeking a technical expert in Monday.com to help them build this new system. They had previously worked with IT volunteers to complete their business process mapping and a large proportion of the development work. This has laid a clear foundation for a Skilled Volunteer to step in and support the remaining development, which is outlined in a specific of technical requirements.

The project will include:
  • Developing and implementing the necessary changes on the Monday.com Work Management product, using the Pro tier.
  • Conducting white-box and black-box testing to ensure all changes function smoothly and meet their operational standards.
  • Updating the maintenance document to help the team maintain the system moving forwards.
Who You’ll Be Supporting:

Bags of Taste is a transformative social initiative dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals by empowering them to make sustainable, healthy diet changes. Their mission targets people with limited incomes who face additional challenges such as poor physical and mental health, disability, insecure housing, and long-term unemployment. Through their mentoring programme, they aim to bridge the gap in nutritional equity, empowering participants with practical, life-changing skills that enhance their well-being and resilience. They are currently working with 2,500 participants a year and aim to double this over the next 3 years.

Your impact:

Your expertise will be crucial in completing the technical design and finalising the build of their system, helping Bags of Taste to streamline and scale their operations to support more beneficiaries and enable organisational growth.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 2 months, totalling around 16 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
