Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience developing wireframes and automating processes.
Project Brief: The South East Cancer Help Centre (SECHC) are looking to automate its membership renewal process, which is currently time-consuming and paper-based. Their goal is to have a system available on their website where members can update their information and make membership renewal payments. They would like a Skilled Volunteer to help wireframe this process and help them understand the information, software and processes that would be required to make this system a reality. Once they have developed a plan with the volunteer, they will look to action and implement it as an organisation.
Who you’ll be supporting: SECHC aims to give any person affected by cancer an opportunity to explore methods which may help them to cope with their situation. The Centre aims to respect and support them in the choices they make and to provide individual and group support, complementary therapies and information within a friendly, caring environment.
Time commitment: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 24 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
