Who We Are Looking For:

The Lunch Club is seeking a Skilled Volunteer with expertise in operations optimisation to help the team make the most of their Hubspot CRM, onboard a booking system for their new link worker service, and improve their wider operational processes.

Project Brief:

The Lunch Club is looking to optimise its processes and make more efficient use of their tech systems, freeing up time and resource to focus on supporting its community. Having used Hubspot for the past year, the team wants to ensure they’re getting the most out of the CRM, and would now also like to explore a new booking system for registering and scheduling client appointments.

The Skilled Volunteer will:

  • Review and provide recommendations to optimise the team’s use of Hubspot, to improve data management and communications.
  • Recommend and support basic implementation of a booking system to empower the registration and scheduling of link worker appointments.
  • Review wider operational systems and recommend improvements to support efficiency across the team.

Who You’ll Be Supporting:

The Lunch Club is a Streatham-based charity tackling food poverty and social isolation by providing freshly cooked, nutritious lunches in a warm and welcoming space where people can also connect with others. Since opening its doors, The Lunch Club has served over 650 meals and welcomed an average of 35 attendees per session, supporting vulnerable individuals across the local community who are struggling to afford or prepare food for themselves or their families.

Your Impact:

By strengthening The Lunch Club’s systems, you’ll free up precious staff time to focus on fundraising and strategy, allowing the charity to reach more people who are struggling with hunger and isolation, and ensuring that vulnerable individuals across Streatham continue to receive nutritious meals, meaningful connection, and support when they need it most.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 24 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
