Policy and Procedure Review

Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience producing and reviewing organisational policies.

Project brief: Only a Pavement Away would like support from a Skilled Volunteer to review their current policies and procedures. The organisation has recently seen rapid growth in demand for their service and would like to ensure their policies and procedures are robust and compliant with all legal requirements. This project will require the volunteer to amend and draft new policies across a range of departments, including HR, risk, health and safety, and events management.

Who you’ll be supporting: Only a Pavement Away acts as an intermediate between forward-thinking hospitality employers and charities working with people facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans. They support these individuals to overcome barriers to employment by helping them find jobs within the hospitality, pub and restaurant industry, as well as providing training and financial aid.

All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. The time commitment above will be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting. This could range from a few days to a few months.
