Cyber Security Policies

Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience producing and reviewing organisational policies.

Project brief: Only a Pavement Away would like support from a Skilled Volunteer to improve their current HR policies and procedures. The organisation has recently seen rapid growth in demand for their service and would like to ensure their policies and procedures are robust, operational for their specific needs, and compliant with all legal requirements. In particular, they would like assistance producing a new Health and Safety policy or a new Cybersecurity policy. They would also like help identifying any processes required to support either policy.

Who you’ll be supporting: Only a Pavement Away acts as an intermediate between forward-thinking hospitality employers and charities working with people facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans. They support these individuals to overcome barriers to employment by helping them find jobs within the hospitality, pub and restaurant industry, as well as providing training and financial aid.

Time commitment: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2.5 hours per week for 2 months, totalling around 20 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
