Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience developing marketing or communications plans.
Project brief: Roots to Change would like support developing their communications around their consultancy service and offer. Over several sessions, they would like to better their understanding of their target audiences and create tailored plans for each. These plans should outline the best channels for reaching these audiences and advise on the key messaging/materials required for their offer and conversion. Their goal is to offer consulting services to a wider range of organisations, including corporates, and use the funds generated to support their other programmes.
Who you’ll be supporting: Roots to Change facilitates community-led programmes and offers consultancy for the private and social sectors. Their flagship programme, The Big Reshape aims to address factors that are enabling violence directed at women and girls. Their consulting arm offers support in research, strategy development, project and event management, training and capacity building, facilitation, engagement and evaluation.
Time commitment: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 2 months, totalling around 16 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
