Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with professional social media experience.

Project brief: Career Compass run their social media with the support of student volunteers on rotating placements. They would like support from a Skilled Volunteer to develop an overarching set of guidelines for their social media channels that can provide direction for their volunteers moving forward. These guidelines would include content ideas, posting schedules and strategies for increasing their reach. They would also like the volunteer to help them develop tracking systems and performance targets as part of the social media guidelines.

Who you’ll be supporting: Career Compass aims to improve social mobility among young students from less advantageous backgrounds in state schools all over London. Career Compass offers a variety of programmes, designed to improve the employability of sixth form students.

All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. The time commitment above will be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting. This could range from a few days to a few months.
