Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience developing social media strategies.

Project Brief: The Institute of Imagination would like a Skilled Volunteer to work with them to improve their existing social media strategy. They would like advice on how they can raise their profile in the sector and also on how they can leverage their social media to identify and target potential funders. They have great content and impact data and want to use this to maximise their reach. As well as a targeted strategy, they would appreciate any support that can be provided concerning implementation and tracking.

Who you’ll be supporting: The Institute of Imagination (iOi) is a charity set up to champion the power of imagination specifically reaching children from underserved and underrepresented communities to build their creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration and curiosity. They design and deliver creative learning experiences through programmes, platforms and products across the arts, sciences and digital technologies. They do this using a unique seven-step circular method called ‘The iOi Experience’ combined with a blended learning approach using iOi STEAM Live as well as their Teacher Training ImagineEd. These empower children today to engage in building a just, fair, sustainable world tomorrow.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 2.5 months, totalling around 20 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
