Who We Are Looking For:

Neighbourhood Watch would like a Skilled Volunteer with expertise in video production and social media content strategy to support the organisation in enhancing its digital presence.

Project Brief:

To strengthen its engagement with members and the wider public, Neighbourhood Watch is looking to improve its approach to video content creation and digital storytelling. With a small central team, there is currently limited capacity to develop high-quality video content for their social media channels. To address this, the organisation requires guidance on establishing an efficient video production process, including selecting the most effective software, systems, and strategies.

This project will focus on:
  • Developing a video content strategy that aligns with Neighbourhood Watch’s mission and audience.
  • Establishing easy-to-use video production systems and templates to streamline content creation.
  • Identifying the most effective software and tools for video editing and production.
Who You’ll Be Supporting:
Neighbourhood Watch is the largest voluntary crime preventionmovement in England and Wales. They are dedicated to supporting and empowering communities to be safer, more resilient, and better connected, with the goal of improving well-being and minimising crime.
Your impact:
By improving their digital content strategy, you will enable Neighbourhood Watch to enhance its ability to share impactful stories, engage communities, and increase awareness of its crime prevention initiatives – ultimately making London communities safer for all.

Please note: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 24 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
