Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience producing digital communications strategies.

Project Brief: World Heart Beat would like a Skilled Volunteer to help them develop their digital communications and help them reach more of their target audiences. This includes increasing attendance at their concerts, attracting more donors to their membership schemes supporting young musicians, and to increasing corporate engagement.

In collaboration with the volunteer, they would like to complete an analysis of their target audiences and develop a communications strategy for each, identifying key messaging, channels and content pillars. They would then like support implementing and tracking this strategy so they can build on it moving forward.

Who you’ll be supporting: World Heart Beat Music Academy – Recognising the significant barriers to participation from young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds, they provide free high-quality music activities from grassroots to professional level to support young people to reach their full personal, professional and creative potential. Their services help young people build confidence and develop skills including leadership, communication and teamwork.

Time commitment: This project has an estimated time commitment of 2 hours per week for 3 months, totalling around 24 hours. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. This time commitment can be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
