Programme Design and Development Consultant

Share and Care Homeshare is the biggest and most experienced homeshare provider in the UK. Homeshares match someone who needs some help to live independently in their own home (Householder) with someone who is looking for somewhere affordable to live and is happy to give an agreed level of practical help and friendship in return (Sharer). A homeshare involves bringing together two people with different sets of needs, both of whom have something to offer each other. 

Total length of project: 16-20 hours

Share and Care Homeshare is looking to start a new on-line service to reduce isolation. Building on the chair exercises that they have been leading over the past few months, which have received extremely positive feedback, they are looking at other ways to bring together both their clients and others who are experiencing loneliness and isolation. Ideas include an on-line book club, art club, befriending service and on-line quizzes. 

For this role they are in need of someone experienced in programme development and design who can help them to assess the need and interest for these new services, design how they would be offered, put together an implementation plan, and identify avenues to reach people outside of their current networks to participate.  This programme needs to be designed in a way that allows it to be run by a small team moving forward.
