Lou & South West London Law Centres

South West London Law Centres (SWLLC) provides specialist legal advice and representation to people who could not otherwise afford access to justice. Their solicitors focus on social welfare law issues such as community care, discrimination, employment, housing, immigration & asylum, debt and welfare benefits.

“I really enjoyed working with Link UP London on this project. Everything was so well organised and having the assistance of a project manager meant that everything ran smoothly and according to schedule – something that can be quite rare when volunteering!”
Lou, Link UP Volunteer

The Problem

SWLLC needed support with their annual review. In order to best present the information they were in need of some graphic work, using key data across the year. These infographics could also be used in order to better publicise their work and attract funders.

The Solution

Lou, a local graphic designer, was matched onto the project, working with SWLLC’s Comms lead. After connecting remotely and quickly understanding the scope of the project, both sides set off. After some back and forth and further finalisation via email, the infographics were produced!

The Result

The infographics, helping to visualise statistics for SWLLC, are to be used on their website, social media, with funders and supporters to communicate the impact of their work.

“It was brilliant to be able to receive such excellent design work from such a talented and professional volunteer. We’re delighted with the infographics she created, which help us communicate our charity’s impact quickly and engagingly. We’re really grateful to the volunteer designer and to Link UP for connecting us together.”
