Suzanne & Be Kind Movement
Based in Wandsworth, Be Kind Movement made first contact with Link UP London over a year ago with one goal in mind: to have the best possible launch premiere of their film ‘Itsy’. Coming to Link UP was just the final phase of a long journey of planning, production, testing, and finally launching the short film.
“I found the volunteering experience invaluable as not only was I able to provide my marketing and sponsorship skills to a worthwhile charity focusing on helping provide educational funding for young women and children, it also helped me find a new and exciting marketing manager position working within education.”
Focusing on a successful premiere of this film, Be Kind Movement’s founder and CEO Premila came to Link UP looking for Marketing and PR support, specifically around sponsorships.
With the support of Link UP Volunteer Suzanne, Be Kind Movement developed a sponsorship presentation document and researched a list of potential sponsors for the premiere. Suzanne also helped source sponsorship and provide marketing ideas and a marketing plan.
Suzanne’s support put the organisation in good stead for the Itsy premiere. Suzanne even turned out on the night to support with the event side of things!
“Having an extra pair of hands on the project to deal with research and cold calling was a huge relief for a small charity like ours. In addition, a professional and can do attitude goes a long way”
