Homeshares match someone who needs some help to live independently in their own home (Householder) with someone who is looking for somewhere affordable to live and is happy to give an agreed level of practical help and friendship in return (Sharer).
Wandsworth Bereavement Service provides bereavement counselling to adults, young people and children resident in the Borough of Wandsworth. All of their Counsellors are fully trained in bereavement counselling and professionally supervised on a regular basis.
The Nicholas Stewart Project aims to provide a safe place for young people through the provision of advice, assistance, and through organising educational programmes to raise awareness on issues surrounding knife crime and its wider effects on family and community.
Begin2Sports Group specialises in sports coaching for young people and adults, providing physical activity, mental wellness, health and well-being and mentoring designed to develop and maximise participants full potential, confidence and self-esteem. Begin2Sports Group also sponsors talented children to participate in activities, life skills, and mentoring programme.
Suited & Booted helps vulnerable unemployed men get into employment by providing them with a suit and other interview clothing and accessories. The organisation aims for interviewees to move on from support, not only looking smart, but with their self-confidence boosted, better equipped to succeed at their job interview and deal with life’s challenges.
Citizens Advice Wandsworth (CAW) provide free advice about a range of social welfare issues including benefits, debt, housing and employment, helping around 13,000 people a year across the borough of Wandsworth.
Work & Play Scrap Store promote artful re-use through the sharing of reclaimable resources for environmental and community benefit. The organisation strives to inspire up-cycling of materials donated by eco-friendly businesses, destined for landfill or incineration, at demos and workshops in schools and at community events.
Based in South London, Young Mums Support Network works with young mothers who are facing challenges with parenting. The organisation works to reduce isolation in parenthood, helps mothers to manage their homes, and offers cooking courses, sewing and gardening as well as back to work courses.
We Rise is an award-winning Brixton based community business with a mission to empower young people to create successful futures. They deliver project-based work experience where young people work in teams to deliver a brief for a client over 5-7 days. We Rise also deliver longer term programmes in school, a programme of careers events (currently on hold due to Covid) and a mentoring programme.
Citizens Advice Wandsworth (CAW) provide free advice about a range of social welfare issues including benefits, debt, housing and employment. The organisation helps around 13,000 people a year and the outcomes of this work range from empowering clients to resolve their issue by providing them with information and self-help resources, to providing intensive casework support that can help prevent homelessness and destitution, as well as addressing serious failures in processes managed by local and central government.
Pure Leapfrog is a charity dedicated to enabling social inclusion in a low-carbon future, working on making low-carbon infrastructure accessible and affordable for all. For the past 2 years, Pure Leapfrog have been running a programme of innovation which designs and delivers replicable low-carbon energy models to communities in the UK. This enables the generation of long-term positive environmental and social impact for the communities, particularly those in deprivation.
Life Force Hub was launched to match business mentors with those looking to start or expand their business in the Borough of Wandsworth. Being a relatively new organisation they are also set to offer business training courses and business support in the near future.
Global Urban Design is a social enterprise that provides urban design and placemaking services. Believing strongly in social responsibility, the organisation also provides training and mentoring, develops materials and publications promoting sound urban design principles, and works with stakeholders and a variety of groups on projects benefiting the community.

For the past 70 years, Age UK Lambeth has been supporting older people across the entire borough of Lambeth. They run a number of activities and services including offering information & advice, social prescribing, and sharing learning opportunities to help older people live full, enjoyable and active lives.
Pauls Cancer Support is a charity that provides cancer support to all those affected by cancer, including families and those who support them. The organisation offers counselling, complementary therapies and wellbeing activities such as qigong, yoga, creativity and mindfulness to people affected by cancer.
Clowns Without Borders’ mission is to alleviate the suffering of children through laughter and play, recognising these things as stabilising forces for children living through humanitarian disaster. Through dynamic clown performances and playful, child-centered workshops, the organisation provides emotional comfort and respite to children when they need it the most.
Kambala Residents Association works to improve life for local people of the Kambala Estate, SW11 in whatever way they can. The organisation has strong links in the community and works closely with the local authority to provide the very best help and support for residents.
3Pillars Project supports and engages young people vulnerable to crime, both in custody and those in the local community at risk of entering the Criminal Justice System, to re-engage with society and employment. They deliver sports-based mentoring interventions, over 8-week courses, working with young people in schools, in the community and in custody, providing non-statutory sports training and mentorship.
Millennium Community Service is a small family grassroots volunteer project offering free courses & workshops to the disabled, Elderly & unemployed. The organisation partners with Lewisham & Morley College who assist through supplying teachers for each course; from health & safety on a building site to website building, animation to arts & crafts, 6 days a week.
Age UK Wandsworth’s goals are to ensure older people have an improved quality of life, can live independently and well in their homes and are able to participate in the community. The organisation also aims to reduce the demand for health and social care through the services provided.
Age UK Lambeth provides a range of social and practical support, including information & advice, social prescribing, social activities, a handyperson service and learning opportunities. They also work to strengthen the local voluntary sector and services available to the community.
Kinetika Bloco’s mission is to get young people from South London engaged in long term creative activity advancing their education, skills, and capacity. Through the music, dance, design and leadership activities they enable young people to have creative engagement, determine company policy and direction and to follow pathways for leadership and career development, and participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
Make Shift Foundation works with ages 16-25 to provide access to enterprise, helping them turn their ideas into businesses. The organisation do this through a programme of test and trading opportunities, information and networking events and business support.
Waste Not Want Not is a social endeavour aiming to tackle food poverty and social isolation, divert food waste, and promote sustainability. They collect surplus food from local traders and distribute it to the community. The organisation also provides catering services in order to raise funds.
St. Michael’s Fellowship works directly with parents in order to help children through residential parenting assessments for local authorities, outreach for young parents in Lambeth and a family contact service.
