FILLED - Writer and Content Developer

Clowns Without Borders’ mission is to alleviate the suffering of children through laughter and play, recognising these things as stabilising forces for children living through humanitarian disaster. Through dynamic clown performances and playful, child-centered workshops, the organisation provides emotional comfort and respite to children when they need it the most.

Safeguarding Consultant

Healthy Living Platform develops community programmes and activities that empower local people and are self-sustaining. They offer activities which benefit the health and wellbeing of the whole community and help improve the environment we live in, running food projects, vegetable bag schemes, food parcels, food growing/gardening, walks, Yoga, Zumba etc.

Grants Research

Clothing Collective was set up in order to help those facing financial hardship to clothe themselves. By providing redeemable vouchers which can be exchanged in our partner charity shops for basic clothing, the organisation helps those in need find clothes they are otherwise unable to access with dignity.

Financial Systems Setup

Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative are a global organisation working for the practical realisation of human rights through research, advocacy, capacity building and mobilisation. Locally, the organisation links with the Commonwealth Secretariat and other institutions based in London advocating for human rights promotion and protection within the Commonwealth.

Chair of TrusteesHome-Start Lambeth’s aim is to prevent the challenges of poverty, neglect and isolation from compromising children’s ability to thrive, through matching volunteers with vulnerable families with young children in order to provide support through weekly visits and calls. Charity Start Up Support

Junction Elite believe in developing youths as footballers, and as people, giving them all skills needed as future young adults. The positive values they look to instil such as confidence, discipline, communication etc can help prepare them for the working world, or perhaps even a career in football, as well as having the tools to maintain a healthy active lifestyle. As well as this, Junction Elite work in the prevention of knife crime by raising awareness, and providing as many productive activities to shelter youths from that lifestyle as we can.

Treasurer

Work & Play Scrap Store promote artful re-use through the sharing of reclaimable resources for environmental and community benefit. The organisation strives to inspire up-cycling of materials donated by eco-friendly businesses, destined for landfill or incineration, at demos and workshops in schools and at community events.

Social Media Strategy

Based in South London, Young Mums Support Network works with young mothers who are facing challenges with parenting. The organisation works to reduce isolation in parenthood, helps mothers to manage their homes, and offers cooking courses, sewing and gardening as well as back to work courses.

Theory of Change Review

We Rise is an award-winning Brixton based community business with a mission to empower young people to create successful futures. They deliver project-based work experience where young people work in teams to deliver a brief for a client over 5-7 days. We Rise also deliver longer term programmes in school, a programme of careers events (currently on hold due to Covid) and a mentoring programme.

Thrive CIC is the social enterprise for gender equality. One pillar of Thrive’s work is with corporate businesses helping them to achieve gender equality amongst their people. To achieve this, we write inclusive evidence-led corporate policies and run educational sessions internally where we bring in frontline expertise on the issues being tackled.

Eat Club is a London-based charity that teaches young people fundamental cooking skills enabling them to develop healthy lifestyles and address issues around food poverty and poor nutrition.

FILLED - Social Media Planning

Social Media PlanningBegin2Sports Group specialises in sports coaching for young people and adults, providing physical activity, mental wellness, health and well-being and mentoring designed to develop and maximise participants full potential, confidence and self-esteem. Begin2Sports Group also sponsors talented children to participate in activities, life skills, and mentoring programme.  Total length of project: 16-20 hours

FILLED - Business Plan Review

Somers Town Space is a social enterprise based in Camden with a mission: to create an innovative History Space in an ideas of social reform and justice took root, to make a positive difference to people’s lives in a deprived area facing huge development. This Community interest Company serves to commemorate, educate and preserve a unique history of radical thinkers, social reformers and romantics, as well as honour a working class community with access to their own heritage.

FILLED - Fundraising Research

Life Force Hub was launched to match business mentors with those looking to start or expand their business in the Borough of Wandsworth. Being a relatively new organisation they are also set to offer business training courses and business support in the near future.

FILLED - Digital Marketing Strategy

Established in 2000 Synergy Theatre Project works towards rehabilitation and resettlement with prisoners, ex-prisoners and young people at risk of offending through theatre and related activities whilst placing the wider issues surrounding criminal justice in the public arena. Their work is founded on the belief that theatre can be transformative and challenges perceptions of both prisoners and society, building a more positive future.

FILLED - Project Coordination: Video Clips

Citizens Advice Wandsworth (CAW) provide free advice about a range of social welfare issues including benefits, debt, housing and employment. The organisation helps around 13,000 people a year and the outcomes of this work range from empowering clients to resolve their issue by providing them with information and self-help resources, to providing intensive casework support that can help prevent homelessness and destitution, as well as addressing serious failures in processes managed by local and central government.

FILLED - Creating an Impact Report

Wandsworth Oasis is a charity that raises funds, through our chain of 10 charity shops across SW London (Wandsworth and Lambeth) and a quirky events programme (on and offline), for HIV support, prevention and awareness raising projects. They are a major player in the circular economy through our shops and actively promote reuse, repurposing and resale of preloved items.

Every Step Matters provides therapeutic group and individual support to children young people and adults empowering them to break the cycle of Domestic Abuse and form healthy loving relationships.

FILLED - Salesforce for Non-Profit

3Pillars Project supports and engages young people vulnerable to crime, both in custody and those in the local community at risk of entering the Criminal Justice System, to re-engage with society and employment. They deliver sports-based mentoring interventions, over 8-week courses, working with young people in schools, in the community and in custody, providing non-statutory sports training and mentorship.

FILLED - Marketing Schools Service

Kinetika Bloco’s mission is to get young people from South London engaged in long term creative activity advancing their education, skills, and capacity. Through the music, dance, design and leadership activities they enable young people to have creative engagement, determine company policy and direction and to follow pathways for leadership and career development, and participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.

FILLED - Social Media Strategy

Make Shift Foundation works with ages 16-25 to provide access to enterprise, helping them turn their ideas into businesses. The organisation do this through a programme of test and trading opportunities, information and networking events and business support.
