Hazelfest Festival - Event Management

Who we're looking for: We are looking for a volunteer with experience organising and running events.

Project brief: After a two-year hiatus, Work & Play Scraptsore are hoping to run their annual festival, Hazelfest, as part of the Wandsworth Arts Fringe. They have a simple logistical template for the event and a list of artists that normally perform/attend. They have eager volunteers who can support the event in many ways and would like a Skilled Volunteer to take the lead in pulling it together. This includes collaborating with the organisation to create a clear theme for the 2022 Hazelfest, confirming the line-up of artists, coordinating the volunteers in the run-up and on the day of the event, and discussing post-event reporting.

Who you'll be supporting: Work and Play Scrapstore have been working for over 30 years to promote the green agenda and sustainability. They aim to cut carbon emissions by diverting materials from landfills and incineration. They reuse over 60 tonnes of waste each year through the Scrapstore, outreach work, volunteering and artistic adventures.
