Wandsworth Bereavement Service provides bereavement counselling to adults, young people and children resident in the Borough of Wandsworth. All of their Counsellors are fully trained in bereavement counselling and professionally supervised on a regular basis to assist them with their work and to fulfil the ethical standards of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

Trustees are required to attend 6 meetings a year (one 2 hour meeting every 2 months in the evenings) plus the organisation's AGM.

The current board is comprised of 5 Trustees with Legal, Finance and Counselling backgrounds, with the organisation looking for trustees that can help with business development and/or fundraising. Awareness of/familiarity with counselling is also important for the role.

If you have already registered to our services, or if you have any questions about the role, contact directly.
