We Rise - Book Launch PR

Skill: Marketing / PR

Project Duration: 30 hours

Cause: Community & Economic Development

Who we're looking for: We are looking for a Skilled Volunteer with experience managing PR campaigns and working with press, journalists and bloggers/media influencers.

Project brief: We Rise have recently published their book "The Work Experience Revolution". The book tells the story of their social enterprise and acts as a call to action to their community. They plan to launch a communications campaign for the book this spring alongside a launch party on 14 April. They need assistance developing and delivering their PR and marketing strategy. They would like a volunteer to help mould this strategy, identify contacts and marketing channels, develop key messaging, and draft press releases.

Who you'll be supporting: We Rise are an award-winning, Brixton based community business, with a mission to empower disadvantaged young people to create successful futures. They help young people develop confidence, connections and skills for work. This is achieved through innovative real work experience projects and a range of school, community and employer programmes.

Project Status: Filled
Date: April 13, 2022
Please Note: All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. The time commitment above will be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.
