The Young People’s Foundation Trust (YPF Trust) supports placed-based Young People’s Foundations across London and the UK with a mission geared towards ensuring that the existing Young People’s Foundations are impactful and efficient, telling the story of their successes and enabling its successful replication elsewhere. YPF Trust recognises the critical role that universal, accessible youth services provides in the development, aspiration and potential of children and young people.
Total project duration: Approx. 28 hours over 2 months
YPF Trust are looking for a Communications strategist to support on creating a common set of core documents, to be used by everyone in the network. This will help to build a clear and compelling brand for Young People’s Foundations. This should include a clear statement of purpose and a headline theory of change. The shorter and simpler the better, allowing individual Young People’s Foundations to add additional elements in response to local context. Key thoughts around: 1) Developing a reputation for positive thinking, offering solutions not problem 2) Developing a language that works across political parties 3) Seeking out and nurturing allies, making it easy for them to become ambassadors 4) Be clear on ‘how YPF Trust’s solution solves your problem’.
For this role we are looking for a volunteer with experience with strategic communications and building brands.
